Comrades, we must pay homage to those Bands who stand astride the field of Metal like Collossus' - those who shine like Beacons through the murk of the mediocre, those who broke new ground with their Metal clad feet, stamping their mark forever on the pavement of Metal History.

Put forward your nominations here, with a clear polemical justification for their indictment into the MMM Hallowed Hall of Fame. Remember, the argument must be convincing, and must not be smitten down by howls of derision, or the Indictment will not stand.

This is a Blog devoted to Metal, and the Revolutionary Metal Gods of the Militant Metal Militia who hold the Red Banner aloft resolutely in the world of Metal! Devoted to Dialectical Diatribe, Polemical Poetry and Revolutionary Rhetoric in the name of Rock.

Please Post accordingly, I will set up specific threads devoted to genres of Rock, Metal and Politics - suggestions emailed to me on a postcard please. Only threads of the highest Revolutionary calibre will make it. Contributions from lame conservatives or pathetic fascists will be crushed under the terrific tracks of the Militant Metal Militia - you have been warned!

Controversy in the realms of Musical Differences however, is positively courted by us in the Militia. We welcome open, frank, democratic and robust argument on any issues of Rock, but be prepared for vigorous discussion and flame-ridden dissent in the ranks as the issues of the Day are brought forth.

Most of all, us old crusty battle hardened veterans of the Militia welcome into our ranks the new young blood who will take forward the battle standards of Revolutionary Rock and Militant Metal - you Comrades are the future, and we salute you, but expect us to defend the Old Dinosaurs of Rock and Metal robustly.
